Blue Nile 50th Anniversary Celebration

The expedition that founded the Scientific Exploration Society

It is planned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the descent and exploration of the Blue Nile with a special celebratory event. This epic expedition led to the founding of the SES. There will be a powerpoint presentation by John Blashford-Snell and expedition members, which will be open to the public. A number of VIPs will be invited. The Daily Telegraph is helping to promote the event.
